CarrollKids

Runs from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 18 from 9:30AM - 3:30PM each day.  The CarrollKids program addresses the individual needs of students based on IEP goals and recommendations from teachers.  Working in small groups, the kids participate in a variety of fun and educational activities that build Braille, technology, science, math communication, and interpersonal skills.  The program is hosted at IN-SIGHT's Warwick facility.  All of the program staff are either certified vision professionals or interns from the University of Massachusetts who work under the supervision of qualified professionals.

CarrollTeens

Runs from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 18.  This is an overnight program with adult supervised accomodations at a hotel across the street from IN-SIGHT's Warwick headquarters.  Daytime instruction takes place at IN-SIGHT with evening activities occuring in the community with adult supervision.  Working in small groups, the kids participate in a variety of fun and educational activities that build Braille, technology, science, math communication, and interpersonal skills. All of the program staff are either certified vision professionals or interns from the University of Massachusetts who work under the supervision of qualified professionals.

Both the CarrollKids and CarrollTeens program are hosted by IN-SIGHT, The Carroll Center for the Blind, and the RI Vision Education and Services Program at the Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities.
