How to Help

Your donation to INSIGHT makes a big difference in our efforts to help people who are blind and visually impaired to live more independent and productive lives.  Your donation, no matter the size, helps to underwrite the costs of our programs and services allowing people to access them at little to no cost.

Youth Activities for Winter Break

INSIGHT will be offering programs during February vacation for kids and teens who are blind and visually impaired on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, February 20, 23, 24.

 

INSPIRE for Teens 

This program will be hosted in two sessions on Monday, February 20 and Thursday, February 23 from 9AM - 4PM at INSIGHT.  The program is open to 13 to 18 year olds who are blind or visually impaired and will focus on career planning, making your own lunch, cafeteria etiquette, finding friends to sit with, and going through a buffet.  Pre-registration is required.  Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. INSPIRE at INSIGHT

This program will be hosted in one session on Friday, February 24 from 9AM - 4PM at INIGHT.  The program is open to 8 to 12 year olds who are blind or visually impaired and will focus on building social skills, making your own lunch, cafeteria etiquette, finding friends to sit with, a computer scavenger huint, and a multi-sensory craft project.  Pre-registration is required for this free program.  Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
